About This Blog

This blog is a way of sharing my passion and any insights I get in my day-to-day work as a business process designer with a wider audience. I have seen many great resources on business process management and have learnt from them. My value add as I see it is to look at and portray process improvement / process management as some fairly simple, commonsensical principles that can provide significant positive impact when applied right.

In essence, this blog will contain:
1. My thoughts / approach to aspects of process improvement in general
2. My Review / perspective on topics from articles and other published materials from time to time.
3. A discussion on any comments any reader may leave.

Please note that this blog is for an individual process management practitioner. The distinction I am bring about here is that regardless of whether your organization has a great structure enabling continuous process improvement or not, BPI projects can still have an impact. While organizational involvement, creation of specific units focusing on process improvement, etc. could help accelerate the process of process improvement, it still has to start with the right idea and that comes from an individual or a team that is part of the process. There is an implicit assumption I make here that there is a relevant business need we are trying to address. This assumption is true for all content on this blog.
